Jacques Bermon Webster II, born April 30 1991, is known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is the American rapper, singer and songwriter. His stage name is the amalgamation of the name of his loved uncle and the initials of Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott signed his first major label contract in 2012, with Epic Records. He signed a joint recording agreement with Epic Records and T.I. The's Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut album Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in 2013. The mixtape was followed by another mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his debut studio album. The single that became a hit "Antidote" was the lead track. His second album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) earned him his first Billboard 200 top 100 album. Scott dropped Birds in the Trap Sing McCKnight (2016) with Quavo under the name of Huncho Jack. In the year 2018, Astroworld was released to praise from the critics. The album produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. In late 2019, Scott's label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys, which topped the Billboard 200. The single, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. Scott was the first rapper to be ranked first place on the Hot 100 with three songs within a mere one year.
