Jessica Marie Alba is an American actress. She began
her film and television appearances at the age of 13 with Camp Nowhere and The
Secret World of Alex Mack (1994), but rose to prominence at age 19 as the main
actress in the television series Dark Angel (2000-2002), for which she received
an Golden Globe nomination. Her big screen breakthrough came with the film
Honey (2003). She soon established herself as an Hollywood actress and has
